Knitting Out Loud was founded by Kathy Goldner, an avid knitter. Ms. Goldner was taught to knit by her German grandmother, a World War II refugee and a psychoanalyst who knit while listening to her patients.
Recently returning to knitting, Kathy plunged into the delightful literature of knitting and realized that the agonizing conflict between reading about knitting and knitting could be solved by producing audiobooks of the best knitting titles available. And so Knitting Out Loud was born.
